With so many different virus checkers, firewalls and other software around, conflicts can sometimes happen and prevent the Ensemble software from installing or running correctly.
Exceptions in Windows Firewall
Ensemble uses internet messages to communicate between its various different parts. To do this it opens ports (or holes) in the Windows Firewall.
If you have the ‘Block all incoming connections’ box ticked in the Windows Firewall Settings dialog then Ensemble will not be able to talk to anything.
Administrator Access
You must be logged in to your PC as an Administrator to install the software. You can tell what type of user you are by looking at the User Accounts section in the control panel.
