I’d love to tell you that Ensemble is totally free from bugs and crashes, but unfortunately that’s something I can never promise. With such a flexible piece of software it’s impossible to test every combination of blocks, input devices and outputs to ensure that everything works. Whilst we do the best we can it’s inevitable that some problems slip through the net.
You’ll notice at the side of the blog posts we have an indication of the current software version number. Each iteration of the software squashes bugs – so far over 2,000 since we began developing the software back in 2007.
Please let us know if you encounter a crash or bug, especially if it happens regularly. If you can send us screenshots of the error messages or details about how the crash occurred then we might be able to track down the problem and help other users.
