Two short updates on using Ensemble with an Apple Mac computer.
1 – Using Boot Camp
After my computer died earlier this year, I decided to make the switch to an Apple Mac laptop. In order to run the Ensemble software I’ve installed Bootcamp with Windows 7. The process was very straightforward and I was up and running in a very short space of time.
When I boot my Mac I press the ‘ALT’ key which gives me a simple boot menu. I select ‘Windows’ and my Mac runs as a standard Windows machine.
2 – Using Parallels
Working with Gary Day in London, we setup Ensemble to run under Parallels 8 and Windows 8 on his Apple Mac. This means that he can run Ensemble in a window alongside Apple Mac applications.
I’m hoping to add Parallels to my system in due course and will report back on the results.
